Thistle Shoes Pebble Grained Ghillie Brogues
First time purchasing from Clan Kilts, but second pair of this model of Ghillie Brogues (dog got ahold of the previous pair). These are definitely premium quality shoes, which I expect will last many, many years. As with all my leather shoes, I had 'sole savers' installed to protect the soles and provide more traction. I also had the rubber heel lift and steel plate replaced with a standard hard rubber heel lift, as the steel plate can be treacherous on tile and smooth concrete. A wee bit of stretching of the toe boxes was needed to accommodate my 'F' width feet, and these shoes are now perfect. Many thanks to Clan Kilts for their quick response time in processing and shipping the shoes to Canada.
